Chica Bonita - my beautiful girl - the name says it all. Chica is the first basset that I have made up to Champion. A star in the ring as well as at home. A princess from the first day I brought her home. Serenity and grace would be an outsiders view - a secret hooligan to those who live with her! “Was not me dad - she did it...” would be her tag line - poor Zazie who unfortunately is her co-conspirator and always at the centre of all things naughty......

Zazie is the house fool - adorable, and clumsy in everything she does. Not the brightest of babies - but her  out look on life is simple -  fun and lots of play - especially chasing dachies around the garden and howling in laughter. She is encouraged to be naughty by the other canine housemates and can often be found on the dining table fetching something that's supposed to be out of reach - funny how all the others almost point at her an say - “she did it” every time! Many thanks to Di and Paul of Dearduenna bassets for this whirlwind of chaos!

Pru joined us from Derek & Heather Storton in October 2009. This late back little girl is so happy 24/7 - her tail never stops wagging! Having joined our home at the same time as my litter from Barbara, she spends a lot of her time playing and sleeping with the two dachie girls - I am beginning to think she thinks she is one! Looking forward to campaigning her in 2009.
